Who we are

What this is

These are the terms that apply when you use Monti — our mobile app for saving and organizing content from social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest (Reels, posts, carousels, and Shorts).

Age requirement

By using Monti, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18, you may not use the Service. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will suspend their account and delete their data promptly.

Key definitions

• Service — the Monti mobile app and related services.
• Content — links, URLs, notes, categories, and other information saved or generated in Monti.
• Account — your personal Monti account, created via email, Google, or Apple sign-in.
• Store — Apple App Store.

Entering a contract

By downloading or using Monti, you enter a legal agreement with us. These terms are an end user licence agreement. You also agree to the Store's rules.

Your account

To use Monti, you need to create an account using your email address, Google account, or Apple ID. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately at support@monti-app.com.

Changes

We may update these terms. For significant changes, we'll give reasonable notice via the app or email. If you don't agree, you can stop using Monti and delete your account.

Your right to use

We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Monti for personal content curation. Any free trial must be genuine and not abused.

Service standard

The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim any and all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. AI categorization is provided as-is and may not always be accurate.

User behaviour

You must not:

• Break the law or infringe others' rights.
• Save or share unlawful, offensive, or harmful content.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or misuse the Service.
• Use bots or automated tools to interact with the app.
• Circumvent the credit system or any access controls.
• Share your account or allow others to use it.

Your content

You are responsible for the links and content you save in Monti. You must have the right to save anything you add. Your content is stored securely on our servers and synced across your devices. We may suspend access if your use breaches these terms or the law.

Third-party content

Monti lets you save links to content hosted on third-party platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest. We are not responsible for that content, its availability, or the policies of those platforms. You are responsible for ensuring your use of such content complies with the terms of those platforms.

AI features

AI-powered categorization is provided as a convenience. Results may not always be correct — you can edit or override them at any time. We do not use your saved content to train AI models.

Payment

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by the Apple App Store. Prices and terms are set out in the Store listing. Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policies.

Credits

Paid plans include monthly import credits. Each import uses 1 credit. Unused credits expire at the end of each billing period.

Your content — licence

By saving content in Monti, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process, store, and use that content solely to provide the Service — including AI categorization. You retain full ownership of your content. We do not use your content to train AI models or share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights; or (d) any content you save or submit through the Service.

Ending this contract

You may delete your account at any time from the app settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. On account deletion, your data will be removed from our servers within 30 days.

Our responsibility

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or service interruption. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Disputes may be resolved through the courts of Poland, unless otherwise required by local law.
